


Our documented quality management system conforms to the requirements of AS9100D and ISO9001:2015 and is 3rd party registered by Quality Systems Registrars. It is a mature and proven system, initially registered to ISO9000 for over 20 years of continuous ISO registrations. We conduct regular internal audits that are performed by our own internal quality auditors assisted by 4th year apprentices in our machinist apprenticeship system. Our quality management system is continuously evolving with input from production systems and internal corrective actions.
We have extensive inspection capabilities to ensure that your final product complies with all drawing and contractual requirements. The equipment listed below provides us the capability to inspect our products for dimensional accuracy.
JD Machine utilizes an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system that encompasses all business functions. The analytical tools in the software allow us to closely monitor crucial information that facilitates management of our manufacturing operations.
The software is constantly gathering data from the shop floor, which allows the team at JD Machine to provide customer status real time. All information from estimating to scheduling, inventory management, job tracking, and purchasing to payroll, accounts receivable and accounting functions are all located inside one, highly customizable software database.
JD Machine has been on a lean manufacturing journey since 1997. The principles of continuous improvement through team member engagement is core to our culture. The tools of “lean” are applied through all aspects of our company to drive improvement and add value.
We place customer service as one of our top priorities, striving to maintain a personal relationship with each customer. A key function of this includes providing real-time information about the status of current jobs. We are able to update our customers in a matter of minutes on the location and progress of their jobs.
This allows us to better communicate and provide real-time status with our customers – leading to more satisfied customers.
