What materials does JD Machine work with?
We machine aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium, tungsten, nickel-based alloys, high-temp alloys, magnesium, brass, copper, bronze, nylon, and PTFE, among others. Material selection depends on the application, tolerance requirements, and production volume.
What is the minimum order quantity?
JD Machine is structured for medium to high volume production runs rather than one-off or prototype work. Send the drawing and quantity and we will confirm fit on the quote.
Does JD Machine work with customers outside of Utah?
Yes. Our customer base is national, with significant programs in California, Texas, and across the country. We ship finished components and assemblies to customers nationwide.
Does JD Machine offer long-term supply agreements?
Long-term agreements are our preferred model. Many of our customers have worked with the same JD Machine team across years and decades, with supply agreements that cover recurring production runs and VMI replenishment cycles.
